View Plane Orientation
This dialog is produced by several actions, including:
-
Clicking inside a 3D window and pressing <2>
-
Selecting the 2 Point option on the View ribbon
-
Selecting the 2 point option on the Navigation toolbar
As two points define a straight line, the only other information required to determine a view-plane is the View Orientation.
Field Details:
The options are:
Horizontal: creates a horizontal view-plane and rotates the view to position the defined line along the horizontal axis of the screen.
Vertical: creates a vertical view-plane along the line and perpendicular to the plane of the screen. The view-plane is observed from either the right or left depending on the order the two end-points of the line are selected.
Perpendicular: creates a view-plane along the slope of the line and rotates the view to position the defined line along the vertical axis of the screen.
OK: Applies the new view-plane.
